PhD Student
Ankit enrolled in the mechanical engineering PhD program in Fall 2016 after completing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Punjab Engineering College in India. He is studying the chaos in pool boiling before the onset of critical heat flux (CHF) and the effect of micro/nano-structures on CHF enhancement. Central to his work is developing temperature measurement techniques with high spatial resolution. In his free time, he likes to run, try his hand at cooking and follow the unfortunate travails of Arsenal football club with misplaced optimism.
